The Clinical Educator performs the duties of a medical professional, including but not limited to, training, educating, and leading medical staff at the clinic level. The Clinical Educator is responsible for ensuring an exceptional client and employee experience in the clinic and recommends solutions when operational issues arise. This role supports the medical leadership team through the training and development of Lead Medical Professional 1, 2, and 3’s. This role supports the Clinic Manager & District Manager in all functions within the clinic. This trainer covers a market of up to ten clinics in Southern Florida.

Medical Professional Responsibilities
- Provides an exceptional client experience through the client journey
- Administers treatments in accordance with Ideal Image policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients to ensure overall satisfaction of clients.
- Evaluate clients’ suitability for treatment.
- Pursue opportunities to educate clients on additional services.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of treatment rooms between each client.
- Perform maintenance checks on medical equipment to ensure systems are operating appropriately.
- Maintain accurate client treatment records/data in the client’s medical chart.
- Sustain proficiency through continuous education and training.
- Collaborate with sales and ops teams to achieve company goals.
- Ensure medical professionals maintain current license and protocols.
- Complete a monthly clinic report and bi-annual QA report as needed for the clinic and follow up with any action items.
- Ensure compliance of all incidents are submitted per protocol within 24 hours.
- Review submitted incident reports and provides appropriate feedback, counseling and additional education, if
- Collaborate with leadership to coach clinic medical staff on adverse reactions, risk management, incident report policies, effective documentation, and email etiquette.
- Maintain compliance of all clinic policy and medical procedures; follow up with leadership as needed.
- Inspect and review treatment charts to ensure proper and complete documentation.
- Audit medical professionals through the in-clinic client experience. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to develop skills. Collaborate with leadership when necessary.
- Audit Lead Medical Professionals through medical professional training and supervision
- Ensure adherence to inventory management processes, loss prevention, and safety.
- Responsible for new hire med pro-onboarding in home clinic and surrounding clinics
- Fosters a welcoming experience for all new clinic team members including med pros, aesthetic consultants, and client coordinators
- Effectively provide modality training education to medical professionals in all non-filler modalities
- Support Lead Medical Professionals in the creation and maintenance medical professional treatment schedule in accordance with policy and entry into all relevant systems: SF, Kronos.
- Establish tasks and daily operational duties for all medical professionals within each clinic.
- Prioritize growth and development including leadership and training skills.
- Support and provide leadership for clinics during periods of transition.
- Ensure employees are following the client experience process to provide all clients with exceptional service
- Review Reputation.com daily and provide client solutions to negative reviews
- Support clinic staff in addressing client concerns including unsatisfactory treatment results and negative client experiences. Collaborate with leadership, as necessary.
- Collaborates with Sr. Director of Medical Operations to support the field
- Collaborate with company wide medical leadership to support in clinic operations
- Collaborate with Clinic Managers, District Managers and rthe People Team to assist with ongoing coaching, counseling, verbal and written corrective action of medical professionals as needed
- Coordinate additional medical professional training per business needs with leadership team
- Attend all required medical leadership calls which will include frequent hosting and content creation
- Collaborate with the Clinic Manager/ District Manager to address specific topics of concern, conflict resolution, clinic updates, provide and receive feedback
- Coordinate with vendor representatives for in-clinic visit
- Build a professional relationship with the clinic's medical director to facilitate ongoing communication and ensure that his/her contact information is current and accessible to all providers
- As needed, follow-up with the medical director after clinic visits to address concerns or issues that the medical director may have and to verify that he/she has reviewed all charts and incident reports since last visit
- Travel between clinics in defined region as needed for medical training and medical professional support
- Support medical training team in innovation rollouts
- Address client services requests in a timely manner, escalate as necessary
- Drive Key Performance Indicators through coaching performance behaviors
- Maintain balance in making local decisions for all clinic operational objectives and results to deliver the highest level of service, efficiency and safety of treatment efficacy, safety, and client experience
- Manage and drive sales, key initiatives and develops strategies to retain clients, improve service, and increase profitability
- Support NCO and MSO training and support where needed
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Training:
- Required licensing per state guidelines.
- Family Nurse Practitioner Required
- Previous aesthetic trainer experience required
- Prior leadership experience highly desirable (i.e. charge nurse, previous management experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience providing aesthetic training, including but not limited to: laser hair removal devices, injectables, body sculpting technologies, facial services
- Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software applications (MS Office Suite, Electronic Medical records systems, etc.).
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Actively solution oriented and skilled in conflict resolution.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, procedures, laws, and regulations in medical aesthetics.
- Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements
